In Central Asia, Kazakhstan is an example of political, social and economic success. Hoping to exert a positive influence through various regional bodies for cooperation and integration, Kazakhstan intends to lead by example with the goal of continuing to demonstrate that political liberalization and market-based reforms answer the needs of the citizens. Underlying this approach is an understanding that Kazakhstan’s future prospects for prosperity and stability rely on the success of the entire region. Kazakhstan cannot succeed in isolation – it is important for others to share in the advances that Central Asia is capable of achieving.
