International prizewinner Marat Bisengaliev began his career at the age of nine and later went on to study at Moscow’s Tchaikovsky Conservatoire with instructors Boris Belinki and Valery Klimov. His career has taken him all over the world and earned him international acclaim.
Bisengaliev has received numerous awards and honors, including a prize at the Leipzig International Bach Competition in 1998 and first place in the 1991 International Nicanor Zabaleta Competition in Spain. In 2000, he received the Independent Platinum Tarlan Award and the Government Medal of Honour in Kazakhstan.
With a library of recordings under the Sony EMI and Naxos labels, Bisengaliev has toured the globe as founder and soloist of the Kazakh Chamber Orchestra. Bisengaliev is also Artistic Director of Symphony Orchestra of India and founder of the West Kazakhstan Philharmonic Orchestra.
